my apartment is near spotless. my cat is well fed and healthy. alex's cat has hepatitis, but is looking and feeling better since last weekend when we jabbed him to give him subcutaneous hydration. the sunshine is amazing medicine. somehow i lost all focus in the winter...my time to have time to myself was just time to distract myself from being depressed.
this morning the sun was shining brightly. it's almost sixty degrees. i took time to put myself together. i feel thinner. stronger. i walked to the train old new yorker in hand. smiling. passed a crazy woman talking to herself--it's amazing how hands free cell phones make those people blend more nowadays. went into the train station. got choked up. a man was taking time out of his morning routine to show a blind man to the bus. it's funny how much those things really impress me. really. and how often you think people should do those things, but i notice how often they do not.
the article on the new hermes perfume is fascinating. it smells even better. i am now in love with fresh's scent of pomegranite and anais.
