this morning i laid in bed, eyes closed, listening to the rain as it drew a picture of volume around me.
john hull said rain brings out the contours of what's around you...it introduces a continuous blanket...and that thunder puts a roof over a blind person's head. phenomonal.
he said "the concept of a nice day is visual--a clear blue sky, the sun is shining" and i wondered this morning if people have different perceptions of the world based on how they perceive color. if maybe optimists saw a little more color literally than pessimists...or if anyone saw only in gray...and how would that affect your perception of things. just a thought.
